I have found it challenging to keep up with self-care practices consistently in the past year. However, I have noticed that when I make a deliberate effort to plan out my self-care routine, I tend to stick to it better. Recently, I decided to give journaling a try, despite not considering myself much of a writer. I figured I would simply write down whatever was on my mind and see where it took me. While I don't journal every day, I have noticed that I feel a bit better after writing. It's almost as if I have been able to release some thoughts and emotions that were weighing on me.
