I can hardly contain my excitement; it's September and my birthday month! I'm already feeling the love from everyone. Once a year, I plan a day for myself called "Yes Queen Day". You might be wondering, what exactly is that? Well, it's the most wonderful day of the year for me. On my birthday, I plan out all the things I want to do in one day. It's a day filled with fun, but by the end, I'm exhausted.
To make my Yes Queen Day a success, I do three things beforehand. Here they are, and they're all about self-care!
Firstly, I sign up for rewards at my favorite stores. It's a great feeling to be appreciated as a customer, and many stores offer rewards to their customers on their birthdays. Whether you're shopping in-store or online, check if there's a reward program you can sign up for. Be sure to check both your email and physical mail as sometimes, you get lucky with a birthday coupon and another coupon that can be combined for double the rewards. Don't forget to check the expiration date and add a reminder to your phone or calendar.
Secondly, I take advantage of free trials, especially for a fitness facility I've been wanting to try. It's always exciting to try new things, and there are many new businesses popping up in my city. This year, I plan to try something new and use a free trial. Check the company's website to see if they offer a free trial period. If you don't find any information, give them a call, they just might. Look at the pricing of the services and choose free trials for fitness facilities in your price range, so you're not wasting anyone's time and resources.
Lastly, I attend a fun event or food festival. There's always something going on, and this year, I found a food and wine festival in Austin that I'm excited to attend for my delayed on Yes Queen Day. Be sure to check my Instagram later this month.
